Office Manager - Commercial Construction

JOB FUNCTION:
Provide administrative and management services to Vice President and CEO ensuring all administrative functions are being done timely and accurately to ensure a smooth and efficient running office.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1.Implement administrative procedures and policies to streamline and organize office functions.
2.Responsible for ensuring project administrative functions are being done accurately and efficiently including but not limited to, subcontracts, purchase orders, submittals, RFI’s subcontractor payment, subcontractor insurance certificates, subcontractor lien releases, preliminary lien notices, change orders, daily job reports, etc..
3.Responsible for improving and expanding our subcontractor base and prequalification process and maintaining our subcontractor database ensuring database is current with all prospective subcontractors.
4.Preparing bid packages for submission to owner.
5.Responsible for the new hire process ensuring the company is in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws pertaining to new hires (e.g. ensuring new hires fill out all necessary paper work).
6.Responsible for overseeing all accounting functions including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, job cost, through financials.
7.Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1.Knowledge of business management, accounting, human resources, and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, and coordination of people and resources.
2.Five (5) years minimum experience in a managerial role for a commercial general contractor preferred.
3.Good customer service skills in dealing with the public.
4.Advanced MS Office Experience including Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

SALARY/BENEFITS:
1.$40,000 – $50,000/DOE

3.Three (3) weeks paid vacation
4.Minimum $10,000 annual bonus for on-time, on budget, completion of projects
5.Retirement Plan once eligibility is met.
